{Update on G}

 Last weeks was a busy week for us
Remember a while back we mentioned there were concerns about Giulianas head? They were pretty sure she had cranial stenosis. They wanted us to do a follow up appointment after a month of growth to see how she changed & developed.
We had that appoinment last week
They felt her head a lot & ended up doing a cat scan, poor baby.
{Waiting with daddy at the hospital}
                                              {Getting prepped for the cat scan, Brave girl!}

After lots of waiting, {We were at the hospital for 4 hours!!},
Long story short, Our prayers were answered
G Does not have cranial stenosis!
We are so thankful to find out that our little girl is perfectly healthy! & she's growing so well!
I was so scared for so long.. I think thats normal though. As a parent, hearing something may be wrong with your little one, & that they may need a very serious surgery,  is very scary & sad.
But look at her
She will be 10 weeks tomorrow,
that is one happy baby :)

{G's little g diapers}

So you know how a while back i mentioned that we were going to try out g diapers??
Well, We tried them
& Love them.
love Love LOVE them!
& G loves them too :)
Using them has already saved us money the past couple of weeks & G is a lot more comfortable.
& not to mention, so darn CUTE! I love that the bottom of the diapers have a little "g" on them. It makes me feel like we have specially made, monogrammed diapers for our little G.. even though.. thats just how they come! I like to think were special :)

To start our little g diapering experience for OUR little G, This is what we got:
{1 (6) pack of "everyday g diapers"}

{1 (6) pack of snap in plastic liners}
{3 (6) packs of cloth inserts}

Thus far, these quantities have been perfect for us.
We use 1 cloth insert during the day & 2 inserts at night since G has starting sleeping for longer periods, just to be safe. We have figured out the whole g diaper system , & have not had a leak in a while now.
For cleaning, I use my diaper sprayer to clean the poo of the poopy ones, then I just throw all the dirty liners & inserts in the wash at night after i put G to bed. Its really easy!
Happy baby :)
She looks more & more like her daddy everyday! Atleast I think she does.
Even though she is going bald, poor thing.
We love her so much!
She is 7 weeks this week. Time goes by so fast!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So those of you that know us personally, know that William & I are big baby wearing advocates. I am frequently seen walking around wearing our little one.
I know a lot of people think that if you hold your little one too much, they can get spoiled, but we do not believe this. We believe that holding/wearing your little one is very beneficial for both the baby & the wearer!
I have talked in the past about my Boba wrap & how much I like it.
After purchasing my Boba wrap, i then got a Lulu Wrap from the Ellemnop shop.
After receiving this wrap, I realized that i like it just as much as my Boba,... maybe even a little better
I like the different texture of the fabric, I feel that it is more secure, I love the color options,  & I really like the fact that its from a small business.
I wear it literally every day when im at home, when im out walking, when i run my errands, etc.
It makes it possible to actually get stuff done because i have a happy baby & both hands free!
{I still use my Boba wrap as well, but it is nice to have both!}
{Hands free & a happy baby!! yay!}
So.. you may have noticed that on the right side of our blog, we have Lulu wrap by Ellemnopshop listed as one of our sponsors.
Elle, the owner of the shop, is super sweet & is a strong believer in baby wearing, just like us!
 i am super excited to be working with her.
Go check out her shop!! She makes & sells these wraps in lots of fun colors :)
& as followers of our blog, when you purchase a wrap from her site, if you enter
ASHLEY15  in the discount code section at checkout, you will receive 15% off your order! Neat huh?
Lulu wraps make great gifts. or.. you can just get one for yourself ;)
Happy wednesday!
